蚤の市までビーチの散策

Today, we walked on the beach to the local flea market.
It was a bit tricky walking on the wet sand beach, but we continued walking for an hour or so.
At the end of our walk we finally saw a bunch of colorful tents of gift shops.
Local vendors were all trying hard to get customers to sell handcrafted articles and jewelries made with semi precious stone called Larimar (spell?), beautiful blue stone, a little bit like turquoise.

今日は白い砂浜のビーチを延々と歩いて地元の蚤の市へ。

＊ラム酒や葉巻や手工芸品を売る簡易店舗が軒を連ねる＊

最近、『Etsy』以外では物欲が低下中の私は何も買わず。

＊誰かが作ったユニークな砂の芸術作品に思わず「くすっ」＊

途中、前を歩いてるカップルの後ろ姿に興味津々。

ひょっとして中年のゲイ・カップル？かと思ったら、何の事はなく、単に女性がトップレスなだけだった。

ヌーディスト・ビーチって訳ではないけれど、でもトップレスも違法って訳ではないらしく、数人のトップレスの女性を見掛けて、そのうちの何人かは若い世代の人だったりして、ちょっとしたカルチャー・ショックって感じ。

ほんと、旅には色んな驚きがあって面白い。

明日はミニ・ツアーに出掛けるので早起きしなくちゃ。
