1.  Show an enthusiasm for Wine.

2.  Make sounds with your mouth to show signs of agreement.

3.  Eat if possible, to avoid having to speak.

4.  Use swear  words to emphasize approval.

5.  When in doubt, just try to blend in.

this particular northern regional dialect 

sounds like French to many of Japanese people's ears, it seems.＊
